Traditionally, suppliers in the industry have handled all logistics for products to the retail/distributor level, but DT Group now has central warehouse facilities in all the Nordic countries and in the Baltic region and can thus offer suppliers the option of DT Group handling logistics in full or in part (from EXW to DDP).

Incoming logistics account for 10% of the sourcing volume via DT Group’s central warehouse facilities; 60% are delivered direct from suppliers to the DT Group stores and 30% direct from suppliers to DT Group customers.

For import suppliers, i.e. suppliers outside the Nordic region, the Group has established its own internal wholesale department, DT Logistics, which handles orders, logistics and a number of related services. This ensures that there is a single point of contact for the parties involved.
