Wolseley Europe's central buying function is divided into heavy side products and light side product – each side headed by a Senior Director of European Sourcing. In each of the two main categories, four sourcing groups have been organized, each of which has a European Sourcing Director, a number of European Product Managers and one Sourcing Analyst.

The eight main groups are:

3. PVF/Plastics
4. Timber & Panels

Heavy side sourcing groups:

5. Heavy Building Materials
6. Plasterboard & Insulation
7. Flooring & Joinery
8. Tools & Hardware

Each of the eight groups contains a number of product categories.
