ENVIRONMENT

DT Group complies with the applicable international standards on issues such as human rights, racism and child labour. Our ethical values, code of conduct and procedures are available to all our employees on the corporate intranet.

As a trading and distribution company, DT Group is not a heavily polluting operator itself, but we are constantly working with and aware of our responsibility towards the communities around us and conscious of our impact on the environment.

The Group is an international trading business whose activities are primarily aimed at selling to customers what they demand. Therefore, we adhere to the principle that it must at all times observe the statutory provisions for companies of its type, but that it should not become involved in political discussions or express views on political issues.

When DT Group chooses suppliers and products, consideration for the world around us is an important factor. When buying timber and wood products, we wish to help support sustainable forestry, so we recognise organisations such as the FSC and PEFC as certifying organisations. One of our primary objectives in this respect is to boost our marketing of certified wood and to help ensure transparency about the origin of timber sold through increased product labelling and product information.
